You
What are your memories of S&B? Simply
e-mail me, telling me
the story of how you fell in love with Sonny and Brenda. It can be

yaskme -- I know a lot of S&B fans fell for them when they
first met officially on the docks. I can't say I was one of those.
I wasn't really fond of either character at the time because both were
involved in the couple that I wanted together....K&J. But when
I totally fell for not only Sonny & Brenda as a couple but the characters
themselves was on the double date with Stone & Robin. Their chemistry
hid me like a ton of bricks. It was unlike any other couple I had ever
seen! I couldn't get enough of them and they drew me back into GH.
And all through the years since, I can't get over how much chemistry they
have. It doesn't matter what kind of writing the characters are given.
When these two are in the same room together, all else fades. Their
chemistry is something that is undeniable.

What was the first S&B scene you ever watched?
I don't remember exactly because I was only about 6 or 7, all I remember
is that my mom watched GH all of the time when I was little and I would get
home from school and just run to the T.V to watch Sonny and Brenda! I
would actually buy soap opera magazines and everything and they were the
first couple that I ever loved

No
What qualities make S&B one of your favorite soap couples?
They have chemistry like no other and they have a beautiful love story
What makes you believe that Sonny is the one for Brenda and vice
versa?
Because they bring out the best qualities in each other, Sonny was actually
happy with Brenda and he used to smile....he never smiles anymore Well, I
don't watch GH anymore so I don't know that he doesn't but I can assume so.
And they just had this magnetic connection so you really knew that they loved
one another.
Do you love Sonny or Brenda more than the other, or do you love them
both equally?
I love them both equally......I don't like Brenda with any other guy and
I definately don't like Sonny with anyone else.

I love the cave scene and I remember coming home from school and crying while
watching that, that scene made me so happy.

What was the first S&B scene you ever watched?
The first meeting after Unmarried day in Sonny's PH. I thought it was
great. I was a J&B fan prior to that, but I was thinking, "Wow,
Sonny and Brenda have a lot of chemistry." I noticed the chemistry,
that's all I remember. It's my favorite GH scene ever. That's
how much I loved it.
Did you know about S&B before you actually saw them on screen?
Only from it being mentioned by Brenda before.
What qualities make S&B one of your favorite soap
couples?
Chemistry. History
What makes you believe that Sonny is the one for Brenda and vice
versa?
They just are. It was in the writing and the acting. It was
all in the way it was written by [then-head writer] Claire Labine, and VM
and MB always played it like there was no other person with the other character.
Another person never came between them. Not even LeeLee and
Jax.
Do you love Sonny or Brenda more than the other, or do you love them
both equally?
I loathe Sonny now, and even during S&B I wasn't a huge fan. At
times I loved him, but mostly it was just like and sometimes hated him.
I love Brenda, she could kill a group children and I'd love her still.
Any other S&B scenes/moments you care to comment on, feel

I love their history of meeting on the docks and the little handshake thingy.
Love it. I love the relationship in relation to Stone, Robin,
Lois, Ned, Mike, and Luke. I love, love the relationship in
regards to Jason. The non-wedding is my favorite tape. The Jason
and Sonny talks about Brenda and Robin are the greatest ever. The fact
that Sonny and Jason hold Robin and Brenda above evryone else is always lovely.
Brenda and Jason understand each other more than anyone else, mostly
when it runs on hatred. The scene after the non-wedding were wonderful.
They would rip each others heart in regards to Sonny and Robin.
