Starr and
Travis:
Quote Montage
~ Shut-Up
~
Starr and Travis consider themselves a "couple" -- much to the
disgust of Starr's father, Todd Manning. Watch out,
Travis!
New quotes in purple.
[Starr is missing and Bo thinks she may be with Travis]
Bo: This kid Travis tends to fend for himself. His mom says
he stayed out all night before.
Todd: Now he's got my girl with him. I'll kill him.
Todd: NYPD found Travis OConnell.
Blair: Well, we can't go! What if Starr comes back here?
Todd: Blair -- (grabbing coat)
Blair: Todd, wait --
Todd: I'll kill this Travis kid!
[Travis is describing his time with Starr to her parents]
Travis: So then we kind of did this thing, you know? We --
Todd: What thing?
Todd: So do you think she would go back to this bridge in the park?
Travis: Maybe. Or she might come here, I don't know.
Todd: That's really helpful.
Travis: Look, I never wanted to do anything wrong or have anything
bad happen!
Todd: Something bad did happen!
[On Bow Bridge in Central Park]
Blair: Shouldn't she be here, Todd? I mean, I was hoping that
she would be here looking for us, looking for Travis, that boy, and -- he
cares so much about her.
Todd: Oh -- if he touched her, he's dead.
[Travis and Todd are at the train station with the ransom money, waiting
for the kidnapper]
Travis: I know Starrs here somewhere. The kidnapper said
--
Todd: (getting annoyed) Shut up.
Travis: I just -- I care about Starr.
Todd: Get out of my sight.
Travis: I'm not going anywhere.
[Todd and Blair are worried about Starr's safety]
Travis: Starr's okay. She has to be. I love her!
Todd: Travis...uh, you're not in love with Starr, okay? I want
you to shut up.
Travis: How do you know how I feel?
Todd: I'm not letting Starr have a boyfriend until after I'm dead.
Travis: Look, when I'm around Starr, everything's great, and that
has to be love. Hey, and if you don't understand me, maybe you're the
one that's never been in love.
(Todd and Blair exchange a "look")
Todd: Fine. Yes, you love her. Your call.
Travis: How do we find her?
Todd: I don't know, but we will. It's a promise.
Todd: So...tell me about Travis.
Starr: (changing the subject back to the trip she just got back
from) We got you a present.
Todd: Don't want to talk about Travis, huh?
[Todd is lecturing Travis about the upcoming dance]
Todd: No touching, no kissing, huh? No smoking, no drinking,
no dancing. All right?
Travis: Mr. Manning, it's a dance.
Todd: Okay, a little dancing.
Travis: Yeah.
Todd: But no slow dancing. No bringing her in close.
You got me?
Travis: Yeah. No slow dances at all. Gotcha.
Todd: When you see her, you tell her she looks nice. No, you
tell she looks great, got it? Get out of my face. We never had
this conversation, okay?
Travis: Yeah.
Blair: Well, our little girl is off to her first dance.
Todd: Yeah. That kid from the city -- how do you trust a city kid?
Blair: I have to tell you, it was really tough watching her go. It
kind of made me sad.
Todd: It kind of makes me mad...watching him worm his way into her
life.
[Talking about Starr after the community center fire]
Blair: I think she's just excited that she has this exciting story
to tell her new boyfriend.
Todd: Don't say that word, please.
[Todd and Blair are back together]
Starr: (to Travis) If you want, you could come in. I
mean, my dad's in, like, a permanent good mood.
[Starr goes running up the penthouse stairs]
Viki: I think she has an urgent need to check e-mail.
Blair: Ah -- Travis.
Viki: Hmm.
Todd: Oh, God. I'd give anything if she was still into piranhas
and sharks.
Starr: I need to borrow somebody's credit card because I have to go
to the stationery store and buy a cartridge for my printer.
Todd: You know, if you didn't print out every one of what's-his-name's
emails, those cartridges would last a little longer.
[Todd has grounded Starr from seeing Travis]
Starr: How can you do this to me, dad? You know I love Travis!
Todd: You don't love Travis, Starr.
[Travis says that he's going back to school in a week]
Starr: And a lot can happen in a week.
Todd: That's what I'm afraid of.
Todd: (to Blair, about Travis) That kid is such a salesman.
Charm offensive.
