Doran Blackmails Todd
Todd is forced to turn to Dorian to ask her for the money for Starr's
ransom.
Dorian: $500,000?
Todd: I have nowhere else to go.
Dorian: Did you ask Viki?
Todd: I can't ask Viki. The stress would kill her.
Dorian: That's true, I'm sorry.
Todd: She'd want the cops involved.
Dorian: Todd, how do I know this kidnapping isn't just some twisted
scheme of yours to try and get Blair back?
Todd: (narrows his eyes) Dorian, you -- I know you hate me,
but do you think I'm capable of such a thing? We're talking about my daughter.
Dorian: Okay, I'll get you the money -- on one condition.
Todd: Anything.
Dorian: You stay out of Blair’s life forever.
Todd: You want me to give up my wife to save my daughter?
Dorian: Do we have a deal or not? (Todd doesn't answer) Fine.
Todd: ...All right.
Dorian: Todd, I want you to swear -- I want you to swear on your
children's lives that you won't pursue Blair ever.
Todd: (has a sick look on his face) On my children's lives?
(he clenches his jaw) And if she pursues me?
Dorian: Oh, just let me worry about that. Swear it, Todd. Swear that
you won't try to get Blair back ever again.
Todd: I swear.
(end scene)
Dorian: (talking on the phone to the bank) All right, thank
you. (hangs up and turns to Todd) You're to see a Mr. Sanders at my
bank. He's a vice president.
Todd: (walks to the patio doors) Tell Blair I went for a walk.
Starr's boyfriend Travis comes into the living room just in time to
hear Dorian say...
Dorian: Todd -- remember our deal.
Todd doesn't reply...he just turns and walks out the
door.
